Restoring Hope and Guided Healing

Nothing prepares you for the moment you find out your child has been abused. We are here to help you every step of the way.

Building Better Relationships to Promote Healing

We understand how scary this process must be for you and your child. That is why all of our services are located in one place, our Children's Advocacy Center. A safe and locked, child friendly space where your child can receive treatment with the same familiar faces.

We are committed to helping you through your healing journey, every step of the way.

Intervention Services

Forensic Interviews

A forensic interview provides children with a safe space to talk about what happened to them. Our trained interviewers have experience talking to children who have been through difficult experiences and do so within a child centered environment. These interviews are designed to create an open-ended and trusted conversation between the child and professional, based on facts. Our professionals, Law Enforcement, and CPS work together to understand each child and ultimately promote safety and healing moving forward.

Medical Exams

We offer non-emergent medical exams to child victims of sexual abuse. We partner with specially trained pediatricians from Helen Devos Children's Hospital to ensure your child is receiving the best care at no cost to your family. We do our best to make sure each child understands this process before and during the examination, and that they have a right to say what they are and are not comfortable with. We offer medical examinations to ensure your child is is healthy following abuse allegations.

Counseling

We offer counseling services to children who have disclosed abuse and neglect. Our trained clinicians are trauma informed and practice Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) to ensure your child has a mode of healing that works best for them. In addition, we offer Parent Child Interaction Therapy (PCIT) and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) Therapy. We encourage caregiver participation throughout every step of the clinical process.
