Child Abuse Council
of Muskegon County

Our vision is to protect all children and create a safe and healthy community.
The Child Abuse Council of Muskegon gives children
an opportunity to tell their story.

Our Space
All Under One Roof
At the Child Abuse Council of Muskegon County, children tell their story one time and receive all the services they need in one building. They are able to build positive relationships with the same friendly faces in a child friendly environment.
In a stressful time, we want you and your child to feel comfortable. Not running around all over...

We understand that the healing process takes time and we are here to walk you through it every step of the way.
Through our Prevention Program, Children's Advocacy Center, and CASA Program we serve over 16,000 children in Muskegon County.
Every Step Of The Way
All services provided are free of cost to the families we serve. We are able to offer free services by donations, grants, fundraising, and more!
Your children are the priority and matter to us.
Zero Cost to Children and
Non-Offending Caregivers

"Nobody wakes up in the morning wanting to have to deal with a child being mistreated or abused. But it happens......
The Child Abuse Council, here in the greater Muskegon, is an incredible asset to this community."
Gregory C. Pittman,
Presiding Judge of the Muskegon County
Family Division

"One of the biggest tragedies would be if this center didn't exist. It services so many kids. Which is a tragedy in and of itself, but imagine for a second if those kids didn't have a place to go where their voices are heard."
DJ Hilson
Muskegon County Prosecutor
"The responsibility to protect children relies squarely, not on children, but on us as adults. Every adult needs to know how to recognize, react, and respond appropriately to potential child abuse situations."
Debbie Anderson,
Child Abuse Prevention Director
